Hi, im using bunpro to learn Japanese for my high school class. I was wondering what review type is recommended. Would it be better to do See Japanese write English or see English write Japanese for vocab. Appreciate any suggestions thank you

In my opinion, you should get practice with both. Which one you use for your default reviews is up to what your main focus at the moment is. If you want to be able to read proficiently then do the Japanese to English one in your main reviews. If you want to be able to recall words better so you can speak with more fluency then choose the English to Japanese option. However, I would still recommend practicing the other type by using the cram function. The reason I recommend this is that I found that when I only focused on one kind of output (Japanese to English or kanji to kana) then I often couldn’t recall the word fast enough in conversation despite knowing them as soon as I see them.
