Shifting review layout on iPad?

Hello all, I’ve been using BunPro for a couple of weeks, and really like what I’ve seen so far. There’s just something that’s been bugging me. When doing review on my iPad (safari browser), the layout keeps shifting, depending on whether the on-screen key-board is visible or not. Sometimes, the top of the sentence is cut off, and sometime, the answer entry box is hidden behind the on-screen keyboard until I actually start typing. This is both in landscape and in portrait orientation. It’s rather fidgety to have the text keep jumping up an down depending on how I answer, and when I try to scroll through the alternative.

The same behavior doens’t happen on my iPhone; in that case the bottom part of the screen always stays locked and reserved for the on-screen keyboard.

Is this something that I could ‘fix’ in the settings?

Hello there, it seems like you have a similar problem I had/have. I asked about it around 2 months ago and this is the anwer I got:

As far as I know there is no fix for it that works 100%.

But you can try to lock you screen layout. To do that you need to click on the color palette Icon in the top left corner during reviews and enable the sliders for “lock height” and “lock with”.
This got rid of the problem for some time, but it stopped working for some reason a few weeks ago. I haven’t used my iPad for reviews much since then so it is worth a try, maybe it works again.

I just checked with my iPad, the options you can choose when you click the palette icon change when you are in landscape or portrait mode. In Landscape mode, it looks like the screenshot I posted above. In portrait mode you get the option to “Use Fullscreen” instead.

Landscape mode doesn’t work properly, but in Portrait mode the layout stays consistent if you disable the Fullscreen option.

I use these settings on my iPad in portrait mode and that is working fine.

I have the same problem, but I don’t have any of the settings mentioned below.

Those settings can be reached if you click the palette icon (third from the left) when you are in the review mode.

Thank you both. I did not have the options to lock height and width. But by disabling the fullscreen mode like in Marcus’ screenshot, I got the problem fixed! Awesome, thanks for the help!
