Should I restart my N4 Grammar again?

Hi guys! First time posting here!

So basically I did something foolish. I used the Genki 2 path for grammar which got me according to Bunpro to about just under half or half of N4 grammar.

Now with some exceptions, I kinda rushed through the rest of the grammar points not really remembering how to use them etc.

This means that when I see them in reviews I don’t know how to use them, I just see answer, mark it as wrong get the answer and then write it like I knew it. I obviously don’t want to do this and I want to learn properly now. So would it be easier to just reset the level (if one can do that) or to do something else.

Thanks!

I got in this situation a long while ago, what I did is did what you said (mark all the answers as wrong and then write them) until they all hit Streak 5, and then I crammed 50 items a day for a week, resetting every item I didn’t get in my crams. That way the review load stays manageable and you aren’t really cheating yourself too much (since anything you don’t know goes back to 0 streak in the end).

You could try resetting only the specific grammar points you haven’t studied. I haven’t tried this myself but I’m hoping it means it’ll put them back in your study queue. If you go to Grammar->All and select one, there’s a “Reset Review” option under the streak symbols. If you try this let me know, I’d be curious to see what it does since I don’t want to accidentally reset my own streak :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks for the answers guys. As I was going through the list, I realised that there were a lot of N4 points that I didn’t know than I thought. So I just ended up resetting the whole level. This time I will utilise it properly!
