Currently I use Bunpro only for grammar and vocabulary I do in Anki. However I would prefer to have everything together. Is it then fine to study vocabulary on Bunpro?
Maybe you can give it a try and then keep going if you think itās good
Iām tempted to use bunpro for vocab too but I do have other tools for it that are working well enough.
I suppose thereās a fear that the more valuable grammar reviews will be lost in vocab reviews unless itās possible to filter them.
In your Reviews settings, under general, you can turn on āSplit Reviewsā which gives you a drop down menu on your review button.
Then you can do either grammar only or vocab only
I like the N vocabulary lists on Bunpro, but I also prefer learning vocab in Anki. So my solution to that is to use Yomitan browser extension, going through Bunpro vocab decks, and simply adding the words I donāt know to my Anki deck. All of the words I added to Anki deck I also marked āmasteredā in Bunpro to know I already have them covered.
Iāve switched from Anki to Bunpro for my vocab and Iāve been enjoying it so far. I like the gamification of seeing my progress in the N1-5 lists and the added sentences have been helpful for some context although maybe some people have example sentences in their lists mine were pretty basic. Plus Iāve been really enjoying the ghosts feature. I turned mine up so they happen on anything I get wrong. Which has been really nice for hammering some tricky words or ones that always take awhile to remember.
Same here, dropped the anki deck, imported it to bunpro instead, doing vocab on bunpro now.
Anki is technically more powerful, but Bunpro takes most of the work away from me, provides context, additional meanings, example sentences etc, and I donāt have to do any of it myself

I switch from Anki to Bunpro for vocab, it is good you should try it.
Iāve switched for now myself as well. I think writing the answers out is helping out a great deal with memorization.
