Bunsuke Is a new YouTuber I got recommended, seems to have an interesting perspective on learning Japanese. Thought I would share with the community.
Thanks for sharing. His channel came up on my recommendations, but I didn’t click on it due to all the Matt vs Japan and Anime Man clones. Thought he was another one.
The guy has really good perspectives without preaching about how only one method works. This comes at a time when I’m finishing my first Japanese novel, so I subscribed.
Thanks for the recommendation, I’ll check him out for sure.
Here’s another new channel. The guy is really chill and has some helpful advice. Here’s one that’s specifically grammar related: Japanese is Easy if You Know This - YouTube
I watched it and in effect it has a scholar approach to learning Japanese. It’s interesting but I don’t know it could be useful for the Japanese learners peasant, such as myself
There’s a lot of good stuff on Bunsuke’s Instagram page too, and there’s a newsletter. All aimed at people who want to read Japanese books.
Guessing this is the same Bunsuke who runs this handy little site.
I don’t subscribe to his newsletter because I already get far too much stuff I like to ignore in my inbox, but every once in a while I’ll pop over to the site to do a little amateur translating. It’s great if you want a little bitesized taste of literary Japanese, with some archaic language and grammar sometimes thrown in there for a challenge.
And it’s Yomichannable, if that’s your thing!
