I am currently still in the beginner stages of learning Japanese and thus want to learn as many new words as possible quickly, so I can start to immerse with more than just N4-N5 curated content. To not get overwhelmed with reviews because of my high number of newly added words, I set the SRS interval to Longer instead of Default but I just came across a discrepancy between what the table in the settings says the interval should be and the actual interval in effect for my reviews.
For SRS 7 the settings tell me the interval is 12 days but when I hover over the seasoned category it tells me that the actual interval is 17 days. Actually, the default interval displayed on hovering is 14 days, already longer than what the settings tell me the “longer” interval is supposed to be. From my experience, the interval displayed when hovering over the different SRS categories on the dashboard seems to be correct, so I’m confused as to where the intervals in settings come from.
