If this already exists, please do tell me that I am being silly and just missed this feature.
For quite a few months now, I have been using the notes feature and whenever I get a card wrong I just check that, but often if I had written the nuance in a custom hint (you know, the red coloured words that appear below the answer box) I feel I would have gotten it correct it correct. Especially for synonym hell where sometimes the bunpro hint could lead to other grammar points instead. (Just want to say - this is not bunpro’s fault - its doing an awesome job in nuance hints but this is just the nature of the beast I suppose)
Personally, I feel I could (and I am sure others feel the same) reduce this synonym hell if I could make a custom hint/add a hint using a synonym written in Japanese/add a hint in the other language I know - Cantonese.
Side note - I know the last one is quite personal to me , but it tends to map much more directly and with less ambiguity as a language I find.
I’m sure other people have had this idea as well, but adding custom hints would potentially allow people to do this (and have more freedom to do things such as relate the definition to a third language)
I’m not sure of how viable it would be to implement , but I have had this thought occur several times recently, so I thought I will tentatively say it in advance
