Talking like Samurai

I learned a bit about how to talk like samurai thanks to this article: https://www.lingualift.com/blog/speak-like-samurai/

I learned the grammar point ございます today, and I thought of でござる

One tidbit: If anyone has seen Tada Doesn’t Fall in Love, then you’ll know that Katajikenai (忝い) is a big motif in the anime.

Small things like these are what keep me motivated and inspired to learn Japanese language, grammar, and culture.

This is incorrect. です can be used it certain cases where it would normally be ungrammatical as a copula, but only acts as a politeness marker in modern Japanese (after い-adjectives in い-form). This exception does not apply to でござる.
