After a short break, we are back…
And it’s about time to start another race.
We want to say that the 2nd edition of the Race Around the World was a great success - Thanks to You! 
It was actually so successful that we hit the target 2 weeks earlier than we initially calculated 
This time, we will be decreasing the distance, but somehow still making the race longer…

How it works:
- This is a Bunpro Community activity where any user can participate
- We “walk” towards a certain goal – in this case, World Heritage Sites and Interesting Places in Japan!
- Steps are taken by studying Japanese. Activities like Review-ing on Bunpro, and a few other things (see below) – counts toward the collective pool
Every participant will receive an unique badge!

Measurements & Calculations
The total length to walk is 4,671 kilometers, broken up into 467,100 decameters 
(1 decameter = 10 meters)
- Each Review is worth 1dm (dm = decameter)
- Each reading passage/short article like NHK News Easy is worth 2dm
- Manga page is worth 3dm
- One page of a light novel/book and similar is worth 5dm
- Any short article like Reading Practice on Bunpro is worth 2dm
- Watching Japanese shows in Japanese (can be with Japanese subs) 1dm per minute
- Watching Japanese shows in Japanese but with English subs, while doing ones best to listen 1dm per 3 minutes

This is a community effort! So your number should always be added on to the person’s who posted before you. For example -
