hi!!! I know I was posting in this thread daily but a dashing new man has come into my life (more on that later) so lately I’ve done weekly posts but I’ll get back on track to daily so I don’t miss out! I don’t want us to reach the goal so fast while I’m not looking muahaha. I also passed 1 month here just a couple of days ago which has been so nice. I think I shall… stay! 
so I will get the lifetime sub. almost gonna hit 200 crams soon too. 
unfortunately, I stopped tracking (listening) immersion that is not a tv show/movie bc it became too tedious for me. I am listening to Japanese nearly constantly via tiktok/video games so I decided to just ~flow~ and stop manually tracking it in my personal logs. sad for our step counter, but I picked up my actual tv input so that’s good too! I try to remind myself that my goal is to become fluent, not just obsess over every minute detail of the journey. it’ll come together.
I also picked up two new loves that have only fuelled my desire to be better at Japanese, one being the 龍が如く (Yakuza) series. I’m beyond late to it, but wow I’ve burned through two (and a half) of the games already and I’m just obsessed. it’s such an amazing world and the most fun I’ve had in years playing any game lol. the minigames, the story, the power players involved, the side quests. It’s incredible and so immersive. I finish playing, look around my apartment and almost feel shocked I’m not actually in Kamurocho. makes for suchhh good listening. I’m upset I never played any of them all these years, but happy I found it now because I have so many more games to go in the series!
and the other new find being a newer (to me) anime, プリズム輪舞曲. couldn’t be more different than Yakuza lmao, but it is simply stunning!!! if you love art/romance shows at all please check this out!! the animation is incredible and I love the MC. (I also would love more anime recs based around college and up aged adults if you guys know more pls message <3) anyways, it’s incredible to watch something that I would’ve rated difficult for me even a mere 3 years ago as totally watchable now. the language used can be difficult at times, but manageable. I’m so proud of myself and proud of all you too. 🩵 thank you for being so welcoming to me this past month. looking forward to more. these walking threads are so fun, I came in at the very end of the last one so it was nice to be able to participate in this one, and I recognise mostly all of your names now! I’m sooooo sorry for the wall of text, didn’t wanna distract! (is there a discord or something lol??) Let’s walk on kyoudais!!!
