did we always have to use the shop to change the color of the theme? when i first signed up, i had the option to choose, but now it’s telling me i need to use bunpro currency to change it. is that right?

We switched recently with the Profile/Shop update. It is technically still in beta so you can just disable beta and then choose the color normally

I thought it was kinda strange, too. Something we had for free (the theme colors) is now behind a buncoin gate. Leaves a kinda bad aftertaste in the midst of this otherwise fun change.

The part that was weird for me was I swapped from the purple and pink I was using to a red and purple on my phone, and once I got on PC it was red and yellow instead.
After that, even on mobile it was red and yellow and the red and purple no longer seemed to exist, so I’m guessing it was a bug that somehow carried over one of my previous colors (which coincidentally looked great but I guess I can’t use it anymore 
xD)
Swapped back to purple and pink for now

Oh no, purple and red would be glorious. I actually was looking specifically for that combo recently, to match the new cosmetics better…
