I wrote these myself, and even I get annoyed by them sometimes!
So no, you’re not crazy, and we’ve had a few comments about them before.
0% 1: "There's always next time",
0% 2: "Keep going!",
0% 3: "Hang in there!",
0% 4: "Bad Luck!",
0 to 50% 1: "Keep going!",
0 to 50% 2: "Good effort!",
0 to 50% 3: "Hang in there!",

Interesting, thanks for posting! In terms of suggestions, sometimes when you input an obviously wrong answer - like you include a の just before the sentence already had a の - Bunpro will throw up a funny sort of “staring” emoji. I can’t replicate it but hopefully you know what I mean. That can maybe be used, I always found it funny when I got one of those.
I feel like Bad Luck, Hang in There and Keep Going are all fine really…just something in my head about the tone of “There’s always next time”…it feels…smarmy, somehow.
How would you feel about “Fall down seven times, get up eight”? Translated from 七転び八起き.
To me that would point out the mistake, but also give acknowledgement that the user will make continued efforts towards improving.
This made me think of another proverb that could be reworked into a text shown when passing Ghost reviews.
Something like “Defeating the ghosts on the mountains is easy, defeating the ghosts in your review queue is hard”, an edit from the original 山中の賊を破るは易く心中の賊を破るは難し.
By no means an accurate translation, took some creative liberties to make it fit Bunpro better.
Most people will probably disagree with me, however I really don’t think its a good mindset to worry about what message appears after your reviews. Learning isn’t something you should do for the approval of others, or even due to encouragement from others, its something you should do for yourself. I can’t say I have ever really noticed them at all tbh.
But I don’t write this to sound like some sort of elitist jerk or anything, I just genuinely mean that I think you should disregard it no matter what it said, whether you interpreted it as positive or negative should not have an effect on your goal. Plus I think the messages are pretty innocuous that were cited.
I think bunpro already does a pretty good job at promoting a healthy and encouraging atmosphere. I think the improvements should probably be more focused on synonyms, maybe some nuance explanations of certain difficult vocab terms in the decks and the further progress towards the N0 terms they are putting up.
While I do technically agree (I think people should not be bothered by this and move on), in real terms I’ve done enough psychology to know that some people will be very bothered by it and that it will often be involuntary (they may not be able to control it, and it could be despite their best efforts). This usually comes from fear of failure being drilled in from childhood, from a variety of sources. The brain is trained to hyperfocus on judgements in an attempt to avoid negative consequences that may not have existed for years, and the person will have to put a bunch of mental energy into not having sudden feelings of shame or guilt. It’s an evolutionarily adaptive mechanism that becomes maladaptive.
This sort of thing is not easy to unpick. What is easy is changing a bit of wording here and there to make it softer. I doubt it would take much if any resources away from elsewhere to change a few strings in the code.
I think that’s a reasonable viewpoint.
But it should remembered that we’re really just all strangers to each other here, with no deeper insight into another user’s past life experiences. What seems like an innocuous (new word you just taught me, thank you) word or phrase for you or me might bring back unpleasant memories for another user, something they’d rather not get reminded of. Especially on an SRS system, where that encounter might happen on a daily basis.

And yes, I would like to back up @FubuMiOkaKoro, you’re not being a jerk at all, just stating an opinion. To that end, my own reply may have been quite direct as well. Just to clarify it is meant to be informative rather than combative.
I never knew this was a thing, and tested to see it. I got a “good work!” on a 0% correct run, so something is off.
Anyways, how about just removing the prompt altogether? There’s still the “お疲れ様です” regardless of outcome. In my opinion that’s satisfying enough.

I don’t find that a particularly strong argument, because I’m almost positive someone has bad memories with almost any word in any circumstance. Yeah, it’s a bit of flavor text, but it adds personality.
I’m more the type that would be entertained by a “seriously?” on a low percent or “Try again!” whereas the ones right now are very “普通” so i could argue the opposite way would be better for me, more arrogant and strong. Everyone’s motivated differently.

That’s fair. Like I said, it was just a thought. Not trying to imply that’s true for OP or anyone in this thread. Just adding some nuance to the discussion by recontextualizing the issue.
I really didn’t notice the post-review text until this post, so it’s interesting perception differ so between users.
I get it. I just wanted to share my point of view on that matter as well, as it can get over-sanitized feeling if you just remove anything that anyone complains about. I don’t particularly pay much attention to it either. lol.
I definitely feel similarly, something like “Seriously?” Or “C’mon…” Is more honest of a response to a messed up review session.
