I was searching for an English translation of this song and tbh I am pretty unsatisfied with everything I found, so I thought I’d take a crack at doing it myself, and see what other users have to contribute. It could be cool if we even all tried our hand at it individually and compared notes!
So here are the lyrics in Japanese:

新宿は豪雨 → It’s pouring in Shinjuku
あなた何処へやら → I wonder where you’re going
今日が青く冷えてゆく東京 → Tokyo is turning cold and grey today (blue but in English I feel grey is more natural,)
戦略は皆無 → Without any strategy
わたし何処へやら → I wonder where I’ll go (to be honest, I don’t know whether this should be present or future, tho I put the previous one in present progressive, but I feel like future also works here since she’s kinda seeming to be talking about being abandoned by a lover/the potential end of a relationship, and I feel like shes kinda standing still while the lover is moving away from her. I’m almost envisioning that she’s been stood up (not necessarily literally) and she doesn’t know what to do with her day, or her life, now that shes coming to terms with the relationship likely being over)
脳が水滴を奪って乾く → (This one is so hard to translate because its so poetic aaaa. According to some Japanese blogs, it describes the state of like thinking so much from sadness and being exhausted, so I guess thats why the Genius translators translated it as “I’m so weary”) My mind soaks up the raindrops even as it withers (I decided to try and imitate the lyrics more closely while trying to convey the poeticism in English, but dry doesn’t quite have the same nuance so I went for withers, which doesnt quite convey the same connection between wet and dry, but still sounds better than dry imo. I am not completely pleased with this choice, though, so I am happy to take alternatives. “Even as it~~” is also a pretty liberal interpretation but I think it just works LOL)
→ ALTERNATIVE My mind soaks up the drops even as it dries (I kinda like this also because its a bit more faithful and I guess keeps the double meaning of the drops being either raindrops or tears)
「泣きたい気持ちは連なって冬に雨を齎している」と、云うと → (here, “the feeling of wanting to cry” is so unwieldy, so I want to reach for another phrase, but I also want to preserve the meaning – UGH!!) When I say that it’s my/the urge to cry that brings about the winter rain (Here I’m using “that” to express “連なって”)
疑わぬあなた「嘘だって好くて沢山の矛盾が丁度善い」と → Simpleminded you says its fine to lie and be full of contradictions (I chose simpleminded rather than not doubting or something along those lines because I want to emphasise that she feels he should be reading between the lines but he’s taking her statements as empty expressions, being deliberately obtuse to her inner turmoil. I think “unwary” could also be a good choice, though. I know “simpleminded” is a bit strong, but I couldn’t find quite the right word, so I’m open to suggestions. I guess “oblivious” could also work? However I feel like “simpleminded” also communicates a feeling of frustration that I feel is reflected in later lyrics. I am also using “it’s fine to” to cover both “yokute” and “choudo ii”)
答にならぬ”高い無料の論理”で嘘を嘘だといなすことで即刻関係の無いヒトとなる → (Here I’m kinda picking up this vibe of like ivory tower logic from someone who thinks theyre bestowing a favour when they dont really understand the other person but idk how to express that sooooo. I also feel that i feel like 無料 which is actually sung as tada is giving the impression of not just free but urbane and even empty.) Using irrelevant logic to dismiss a lie as a lie, you suddenly become a stranger (in the end I decided to just delete “takai tada” because I think “irrelevant” actually kinda occupies the same conceptual space while also covering “kotae ni naranu”)

演技をしているんだ → We’re just acting (I saw translations where “I” was used, but I feel like “we’re” makes more sense. I also think “just” reflects the emphasis indicated by ん.)
あなただってきっとそうさ → Yes, (surely) even you (Tbh I don’t think surely is really necessary in English here but)
当事者を回避している → Avoiding the other person (I substituted “other person” for “person involved” because I think it carries roughly the same meaning in English in context while being considerably less clinical)
興味が湧いたって → Even if (your?) interest is piqued
据え膳の完成を待って → (You?) wait for her/my advances to be complete (I am substituting a pronoun for “women’s” in “women’s advances” but idk who to attribute it to) (I ended up changing this line completely in the edit lol, see below)
何とも思わない振りで笑う → Smiling and pretending to think nothing
突き刺す十二月と伊勢丹の息が合わさる衝突地点 → Where the breaths of Isetan and piercing December collide (I think breath is supposed to be attributed to both December and Isetan (a department store))
少しあなたを思い出す体感温度 → A warmth that somewhat evokes your memory (this is def where I get this impression of being “stood up” I think lol)
（ねぇ）答は無いの？–> Hey, don’t you have something to say? (I’m expanding “reply” here to fit what I perceive is the vibe lol)
誰かの所為にしたい → I want to make it someone’s fault (I assume she is talking about her own feeling here because she didnt use garu but she could also be talking about him? I could avoid this problem by saying just “wanting to make it someones fault” but I don’t feel that fits here)
ちゃんと教育して叱ってくれ → Can’t someone properly school and scold me (this is a huge liberty but I decided this is a continuation of the last line, also the way she extends “kureeeeee” when she sings feels like it matches this – I also specifically chose to alliterate in order to echo the original alliteration)
新宿は豪雨 → It’s pouring in Shinjuku
誰か此処へ来て → Won’t someone come here (Again adding “wont” is a liberty but I feel like this matches how she actually sings the line)
青く燃えてゆく東京の日 → On this blue-flamed burning Tokyo day (so there is a problem here. I substituted grey for blue earlier, but this brings it full circle. I might have to go and change that.)

I know there are a looooot of errors and questionable choices in my translation so I’d love to see what other people think! This honestly took me waaay longer than I expected (a couple hours, if you’d believe it lmao) but it was a fun challenge.
