Update on Reading-type reviews?

Hey, I was just wondering when we may look to have this feature available? Apologies if it already is and I’m missing something

Which one?

For Grammar and Vocab the Reading option for me is grayed out and unclickable - so just wondering if this is planned (assuming so) or it is available for selection but I need to do something on my end?

I’m opted in to beta etc.

Ahh I see, yeah same for myself. Not sure TBH I thought it was available before maybe they are working on something in the background.

Fingers crossed! Would be super nice

The answer type has to be the self-assessed reveal and grade type for you to be able to use the reading type question. They should probably make that clearer on that page. Just change the answer type first and you should be able to change the question type. (I think)

This was the answer thank you! Would be quite nice if for the translation style questions in Vocab that we could have the full example sentence be present with the word (as opposed to the word singularly) so we could have some context sentences

Edit: that is for fill-in, not reveal and grade

That’s an interesting idea!
That’s pretty close to what Reading mode is for Vocab, just minus the Manual Input

Yeah pretty much this! But if we could the ability to do the manual input on the boldened underlined word in the sentence that would be cool! For example:

この誕生たんじょう日び会かいの計画けいかくを立たてたのは誰だれですか?

User would type: to make plans

Edit: The reason why I’d really like this is it’s super helpful being able to see the context of when vocabulary is applied, and particularly for transitive/intransitive verb pairs it would be very useful so that the correct form of the verb can be recalled
