I didn’t see this discussed anywhere recently, so I just wanted to ask - is the vocab feature still in beta? Because I now have a “vocab” indicator on my Review Forecast and I see a “split reviews” option in the settings, but I don’t see any way to actually begin vocab lessons/reviews. I’m not signed up for the beta so that’s why I’m surprised this suddenly appeared.

AFAIK, yes, still is. They wanted to add more features before taking it out of beta.
I’m not sure if it’s a planned feature, but the biggest thing the vocab decks need before coming out of beta IMO is a kana input, so that we can have English definition cards and pronunciation cards.

We have a few ideas for what we are going to do with the vocab decks relating to kana input, so this is something that we are actively looking at.
Basically what we want to do is build a hint system that makes good use of what is already available in the context sentences. Can’t give exact details on it yet, but can confirm that this is something we are working on right now.
