I don’t know if there is already such a topic, so I just created this new one. I’m a relative new user here on Bunpro. I used Wanikani for quite a time but I quit, because it wasn’t worth it. (I have more problems with Grammar than with Kanji, so I think Bunpro was a good choice) I just wanted to know if anyone can tell me if there are voice recordings for the grammar exercises in Bunpro. I’ve seen this with some people who have posted screenshots in the forums, however, it somehow doesn’t exist with me. Is this official or maybe from a third party app? Or do you have to set that somewhere? I hope someone can help me! Thanks in advance!

I am new to Bunpro as well, but as far as I know, there are voice recordings for every example sentence. They should be under the examples tab of each grammar point.

Not all phrases have a recording yet but they are working on it continuously.

A couple of checks on computer settings…
- Check: Settings… General… Autoplay Audio [On]
- Check your volume is working
- Check if you have something that disables scripts
- You can test the audio on the Examples tab:

Hey @LordDefiant! Welcome to Bunpro! I hope it helps you meet your language goals.
Like @Megumin and @FredKore have already mentioned, most sentences have native recordings. For N5, all sentences have recordings. you can even choose between male and female recording.
- N4 to N1 have female audio recordings only, although we’re in the process of recording male audios for the other levels as well.
- Only N2 and N1 have missing audio files, and it’s only a few grammar points which will get updated soon.
And like FredKore pointed out, you can enable automatic playback on settings. Also, make sure your browser isn’t stopping automatic playback.
You can also press P or the play icon during reviews to hear the recordings!

I think it’s not really correct that only N2 and N1 are missing audio for sentences , see for example the N4 てくれない・てもらえない | Japanese Grammar SRS or みたいに・みたいな | Japanese Grammar SRS

@bradms @Megumin @FredKore Thank you for your answers. I’m still on N5 and because I already know most of the grammar points, I’m rushing through N5. That’s probably why I didn’t see that there are example sentences I can listen to 
I assumed that the sentences would be read out directly. (I think that was the case with WK.)

@Marcus.W Sorry, you’re right. Those were either recently updated or added, and the audio always comes a bit behind that. We’re actively recording and adding new audios, so please hold on for a bit.

There is an option in the settings for the audio to play automatically when you’ve answered a question.
