それで vs その結果

それで vs その結果
I’m strugging to understand the difference between those 2 grammar points.
This example:
無理むりをしてはしった。その結果けっかあしがつった

Why would it not be acceptable to say それで、足がつった in this situation?

Hey there @Errykostala !

They are used similarly to show cause and effect, but there is a slight difference in the nuance! それで is used to state that (B) happened because of (A), and その結果 is used to state that (B) happened as a result of (A).

それで is used to highlight the (A), and その結果 is used to when the speaker wants to emphasize the relationship between (A) and (B).

I hope this clears it up!
