What are amazing races?

I was scrolling through badges when I stumbled upon badges called Amazing Race in Community tab. Just wanted to ask how do you do amazing races? Is it some kind of event planned by the staff? Or like a feature you can access anytime?

Just wondering because I would love to do the amazing race concerning the history of Japan but i don’t even know what are the amazing races that’s my first time hearing about them

How it works: This is a collaborative game open to all Bunpro users that encourages reviewing and reading consistently. Every grammar/vocab review completed on Bunpro, and also all material read contributes to a shared progress pool

Not sure it means much to staff, but as a new user I would also love to participate in one at some point. I’m surprised that it doesn’t seem to be the sort of thing that’s automatically scheduled.
