What does the kanji in the lesson list mean?

There are two kanji that show up on some grammar points list in BunPro order: 硬 and 未.

It’s easy to guess that 未 means ‘future gramar’, but what does 硬 mean? ‘Still in development’? Any plans to add more kanji to help understand the list?

硬 comes from 硬(かた)い which literally translates as hard or stiff, but in this case it is used to mean formal. Basically, if you see 硬 next to a grammar point, feel free to use it when you’re speaking with your boss, but don’t use it with your friends because they’ll think you’re being weird with them :joy:

I see! Thanks!

It would be cool to add one for the very casual grammar points then!
