Title; I recently got a 67/101 (~66%) on an N1 JLPT mock test; it told me that I passed all the individual sections but failed overall. According to the JLPT website, in order to pass N1, you need a total score of 100/180, or 55%, which of course I passed. So how close was I, actually?
I just want to know where I’m at so I can figure out my study plan.
Thanks in advance!
Answered my own question! Reread the official source and must have overlooked this:
While the JLPT uses a private scoring system for weighing each question, the criteria for what we consider a passing score on our tests is: 70% or more total with at least 40% on each section.
