When can I study the old stuff again after resetting?

So, I ended up resetting my progress as I hadn’t used the site in a few years and had a lot of reviews that I didn’t remember well and decided it would be better to start from scratch.

But now it’s still giving me N4 level reviews, and the old material doesn’t seem to be anywhere on the schedule.

Help!

On the general settings page you can scroll all the way down to the bottom. You’ll see a field labeled new grammar with a drop down box named JLPT study level you can click the drop down box and select N5. You’ll need to follow the same process each time you completely add all of the items for each JLPT level. Welcome back :tada:

Welcome to the community :tada:

it’s still giving you reviews after resetting? Like reviews or do you mean the learn items

I think he means his lesson path is still set at N4. Might be mistaken though. Stranger things have happened with old accounts.

That’s what I was thinking

But then does that lesson path even do anything anymore after decks? Unless they aren’t using decks (´(ェ)`)

Could be the latter. Lol I still haven’t completely started using decks and still swap the lesson path manually :joy: luckily I won’t need to anymore since getting to the N1 material. Oddly enough I use decks for vocab though.

Honestly though, BP has evolved so much since 2021 that it hardly even looks like the same site anymore. I can imagine it being quite jarring for returning users seeing all of the new paths and features. Think people would definitely benefit from a tutorial.

Lmao felt. It’s grown so much :sparkles:
I do remember seeing the team mention plans for an updated onboarding process though

I have to use decks for grammar because I’m addicted to that little progress completed number percentage
Congrats on breaking into n1🎉 I’ve got another 50 to go until then

Yeah I remember them mentioning that too. Quite curious to see how it turns out.

Lmao we all need to get our fix somehow. For me it’s the JLPT progress bar. Seeing it inch ever closer to the end of the bar is enough to keep me grinding. 93 to go now :muscle:t4:
Quite looking forward to taking a break from adding new grammar and focusing on reviews. Will give me some time to really dig into the vocab section. I’ve gotta get my vocab up to par by July if I wanna be ready for the 散歩
