When there are multiple correct readings, why does Bunpro only accept one reading?

Hi everyone,

Like many of you, sometimes I “mine” vocab and grammar from media I consume. Among the vocab I added to my reviews today are:

In the visual novel I was playing, a really cute girl pronounced this as 目をつむる to me, so now whenever I read this word, I can only hear it as つむる in her sweet voice💞

Bunpro lists つむる as a correct reading on both vocab pages. But when I input つむる during reviews, this answer isn’t accepted. As far as I know, this goes for all vocab that has multiple readings. Bunpro only ever seems to accept the first listed reading. Why is this?

there was a similar thing on あり得る where some sentences accepted ありえる and some ありうる but when I bug-reported it, it was fixed.
