When you get a question wrong, the website should tell you the

Bunpro doesn’t prompt you with the specific grammar point related to the question when you get it wrong. In wanikani it will prompt you with the description, the kanji, a menomic. But in bunpro, it does nothing, and i don’t know which grammar prompt the question is related to.

It should do what wanikani does. This should be made into a jira task :^)

…doesn’t it?

Forgive me if I’m misinterpreting your question, but I’m both a WK and BP user, and I can access basically the same function by pressing “info.” WK will open the info section on its own if you get the question wrong twice in a row, but besides that, the function is basically identical. I also like to press “alts” (or whatever that button is called :p) instead of seeing the full info, so I can think in Japanese a bit better. Unless I misunderstood your question, lol (´-﹏-`;)

you know you can click the info button after you get it wrong to see the grammar point you missed and its description? Theres also an answers button which shows you the forms of it

There’s also the keyboard/hotkey shortcut, pressing ‘f’ after answering right/wrong, which shows the item info. I believe this is the same hotkey used by WaniKani for the same purpose.

@decil There is an option for the website to automatically focus on the grammar point that the review is based off of if you get it wrong.
You’ll want to navigate here

And scroll down

Then click this slider and it should behave in the fashion I believe you want.

also check the hint feild before you hit enter. I didn’t do this for my first 30 cards and was so confused.
No hint: 海が_polite_。(きれい)
Nuance hint: 一般的には単独、又は文未で主語の説明をするときに使われる活用形のない形容詞。
Nuance translation: A non counjugateing adjective form that often appears alone, or at the end of sentenes when describing the subject.
Translation: beautiful
Sentence translation: The sea is beautiful.
(So proud I could type the Nuance hint on PC! I didn’t copy paste cause my computer can’t load cards. I now know the word for non conjugating かつようのない)
