Under progress, I have 8 “ghosts.” Ghosts are scary and I would like them to rest easy. What are ghosts and how do I put them to rest?

Ghosts is a feature of bunpro where it shows you the same sentence you messed up again, in addition to your other reviews. I’ve got hundreds of them.
You can disable them if you really want. I would advise against it personally, because I want bunpro to help me eradicate my small particle and conjugation errors. If you don’t care about that (yet), feel free to disable it.

You can vanquish these by correctly answering them in your reviews. If you look closely at a familiar sentence, you might actually see a little piece of text at the top of the page saying something like “Ghost 1” or “Ghost 3” or something. Once you answer Ghost 4 correctly, it disappears, and you won’t see it until you frick up again multiple times.
There are even badges for removing ghosts in your review queue.
