We were actually just discussing this today. I cannot give an exact date, but we would love to have it made available within the next few weeks at the latest. N2 has also been finished in terms of the example sentences themselves (not the English translations for them), so we would like to release that in the very near future too.

I am enjoying this so far, going through the N5 deck. Is it available for the N4 as well or should I wait until starting it?

At the moment the hint system is not available for N4 yet. We will do our best to have it available within the next month or two maximum. We were aiming to have hints done for N3 as well before the end of the year, time permitting.

Hi, is there any update about this? I just finished the N5 deck, but if the new system will be introduced soon I will wait a little to start the N4 deck. If it is still more than a month away I will probably start. Thank you

Hi! Sorry for the late reply! At the moment we are prioritizing getting out the N1 explanations. After that we will be on the N4 hints. My estimation would be at least 6 weeks from now until they are done. Apologies if this interferes with your study!

Thanks for the answer. Oh no problem at all, there is always plenty of stuff to study, so I don’t mind waiting to start the N4 deck, I will do something else in the meantime. The new style questions are much better, so it’s well worth the wait. Thank you for your hard work, it really is appreciated!

Hi, do you know when the cloze version for n3 will come out or when you’ll start working on it? The cloze version is better for me since I can remember and recall the words easier

Though I assume it will take a while, do you guys have a timeline of when you will get to N3 and N2. Like even if its months out, I’m curious.

Once all of the translations are finished, we will then start working on the cloze functionality. Setting up the cloze itself is not so time consuming, but for cloze to work well, the English translations need to be there at a minimum, and then the vocab hints on top of that rounds it out into a more ‘complete’ experience. I can’t give an exact date, but I would say within the next 2 months (possibly without the hints initially).
For N3, see above. For N2, it is unlikely that we will get to the hints this year with all the other stuff we are doing, but it is certainly possible. We have finished the example sentences and are only a short while away from posting them. However, the translations will need to be done after that.
