ngl me too but I dont have any physical shelf space left in my 20sqm apartment

You see, you’d think filling my current bookshelf would in fact incentivize me to stop buying things…and yet… slides an amazon book rounder link behind me too and also my pondering about what to rearrange to make space for it

I haven’t read more than a chapter or two in the past weeks… BUT I have checked out the Japanese section at the library. And discovered it to be absolutely useless It has about six actually Japanese books, all about art which I am not interested in. The rest is all books about Japan, once again just about art. And I’ve checked; it’s really all they have.
Sooooooo… buying it is, I guess!
…okay, reading first. Fine.
Then again… I just saw a figurine I want to give my brother for his birthday on CDJapan and with the shipping costs there it would be silly not to get more than just the figurine… and the order deadline is in a few days… so… um…

But, I did finish two more volumes of Nina during GW + Kiki readings despite dealing with a sinus infection, which I’m going to count as a win?

I had never heard of it until recently! But I saw people online saying that if you liked Inuyasha (my childhood fav) you’ll probably like Kamisama Kiss. I ended up binge watching the series and, since so much of the manga was left unadapted, I want to try reading through the manga.

Separate note: I read 1 volume of manga recently but my book count for this year is now 62 volumes read (all manga) so it’s not too bad overall.

It doesn’t even make a dent in my TBR though and only covers about 1/4 of my TBR Manga alone 
Think I’m starting to burn out on it though
Still the most manga I’ve read in one year so far, so it’s still an achievement

This is on my wishlist of sets I need to buy eventually and honestly? I’m not even gonna feel bad when I do. Tomoe is just too pretty and dramatic and angsty. And bitchy. I love him.
Absolutely recommend reading the manga if you enjoyed the anime. I got to go to a Collab cafe maybe a year or two ago? For kamikiss??? It was so cute and I got postcards and coasters and ough.
I haven’t truly read anything (in japanese) this weekend, but my friend lent me the first three volumes of 魔入りました入間くん which I checked out the first few pages of before getting distracted by my ongoing Bleach rewatch, so between those and my little 魔男のイチ treat that’s waiting for me I think I’ll be able to get back in the saddle soon.
also I may have finally gone through and catalogued my collection on librarything and gotten an actual solid number on how many I have but that’s. Yanno. Unrelated. Mhm.

I might need to get this but for my ever growing Gunpla/Model Collection… Its worse than my books right now. Recently ive been getting into figure… enhancement… and so my apartment looks like a crime scene with pieces of body laying around. but Cute girls be even cuter once Im done so its a win.
Reading on my end is going good. Read about 15 pages of Girl who can speak to animals and while it is slow and laborious Im making headway. Hit several pages of nothing but conversation so that has been difficult to parse who has been speaking to who and who has been doing what to who when they switch into the Pass/Caus forms. Got plenty of things highlighted to ask my teacher about when the time comes.
Other than that, keep at it everyone.

This made me go check what natively says I’ve read this year, and I’m at like 36 or something, which is a lot more than I felt like I’ve gone through. It does make me feel a bit better about my pile, though - at least I know it’s only a few years worth 
62 is damn impressive, though!
I mean, I did have a vague idea how many I had, just because I know I own the entirety of multiple long series. But it was also funny/“oops” to see an exact number.
Just make sure to check sizes - the one I’m getting is sized for manga, since that’s what I have the most of. I keep my figures on my more general-purpose shelves since a good chunk of them are too tall for the manga-specific shelves.
Yes, I do in fact have multiple friends who have told me “man I can’t wait to see how you’re going to get all of this home in a year.” It’ll be…something.
Haven’t read yet today, BUT I’ve got my WK un-vacationed, so if I get that and BP back on track then I can break out the treats waiting in my bag.
