Bunpro Mobile Apps

That’s a common misconception. As long as you don’t have any links in the app that send the user to the website to subscribe, under Apples under rules you are absolutely fine to release it on the App Store.

In either case, would it be possible to open source the project? Or if you’re looking for an extra pair of hands keeping on top of builds for TestFlight, i’d be more than happy to volunteer my time for it.

How’s it going with getting the updated version on TestFlight? Can I help? (I’m an app developer FWIW)

Not ideal but I’m still able to swipe back to the app. (via. ‘multitasking’?), just not open it from the home screen. Motivation to use it often (keeping it close to the top) I guess.

I made a mistake of deleting the app when I received expiry notification. I will be patiently using web version until the app is available. There is almost no difference between the app and mobile web version when WiFi is available.

@Rion @Jake the ios app on Testflight expires in 12 days. Is it possible to get an updated version before it expires please?

And as i’ve mentioned already, I genuinely think you are mistaken that you can’t release the app on the public store - as long in the app it isn’t possible to subscribe (i.e you don’t link users to the website), then Apple will be fine with it. I’ve personally worked on multiple projects in a similar boat.

Honestly I only use Bunpro because it has a mobile app. If it didn’t then I just wouldn’t use it. I’m not complaining, just want to point out that for me, there is a huge value in the mobile app and it’s the reason I paid for a lifetime membership back when Bunpro first started.

They mentioned in one of the update threads that they’re currently working on a proper mobile app, although the status isn’t known yet but I’m sure we’ll hear about it eventually.

Testflight for iOS current says it is not accepting new testers, and the version of the app I had on my phone is expired. Even when I try to study online, the browser-on-phone experience is really bad (everything is too small and cramped).
