Conjugation drilling

Hi everyone

I used to use Japanese Conjugation City to drill verb and adjective conjugations but have recently bought a laptop and its not possible to use it on this device.

What do you use for drilling conjugations? I have used the Baily Snider website but there arent as many options for selecting which conjugation types you want to drill so wondering if there is something else people use of if this is the best option?

I like Steven Kraft’s verb and adjective conjugation drills.

I’ve used Don’s Japanese Conjugation Drill a lot. It’s incredibly customizable so works for any level you might be and for any goals you might have :relieved:

Thank you, I took a look and I like that you can just choose one conjugation type, but I think I am looking for something where I can select all the patterns that I have studied and drill them together. Unless you can do that on this site and I have missed it?

Thanks for the suggestion, I just tried it and failed on all questions, not because I dont know my conjugations but because I don’t understand what it wants from me haha.

I just had 座って and asked to make negative, so I assumed this meant plain negative present form but it was actually asking for negative て form.

Perhaps I need to practice more and get used to it?

Just need more practice. I highly recommend reading the explanations when you get something wrong… To make something negative means to add negative to it.

thank you, i will try but I really loved the app that i used so its going to be hard to beat it haha. The thing is I have read the explanations and I do understand the concept but when the prompt is just ā€œmake negativeā€ I feel a bit lost, like do you want plain, progressive, desire etc.

The one I used before was set so I took the dictionary form and then had to make it negative 恦 form for example, so it was a lot more idiot proof, whereas this one I am having to really think about what the question is trying to ask…does that make sense haha

Try this setting (randomized forms - you can select which types you would like to practice): Random Verb Conjugation Practice
