Does “cram” count I wonder…
Not really a bug, but I’ve noticed that the SRS intervals don’t seem to adjust to your chosen “SRS Interval” (in Settings → Review) when hovering over the categories “Beginner”, “Adept”, etc. on the dashboard:

If it’s difficult to update that in line with your settings (I imagine it is?), then I would suggest removing this so as to avoid giving information that isn’t quite right
I know it’s intended, but it looks like y’all recently made it impossible to backspace one character after a wrong answer. I certainly don’t prefer it this way, and I know some others agree. Perhaps a middle ground would be to fully erase the answer if theres no overlap with the correct one.
As it stands, typing じゅんびしなければなりません when じゅんびしなければならない was the correct answer means I’ve gotta retype the whole thing. This is impractical, and in reality, I’ll just add a random character then backspace. There’s no reason adding characters should keep the wrong answer, but removing them should delete it in my opinion.
Feel free to do with that what you will.
It seems that I have several duplicated ghosts. I hope it’s not working as intended, because getting the same sentence in reviews from 2 different ghosts is a little strange.
I don’t know if it’s related, but I’ve tried doing offline mode reviews in the app a couple of times and it feels like the ghosts multiplied after that.
Humorously, it looks like 短時間 has a similar problem with two of the example sentences.
Furthermore, as I understand it is appreciated even if tiny typos are pointed out, the English translation for second example sentence for お風呂 ends in a period where it should end in a question mark.
Sorry, not sure what I’m looking at in your screenshots?
Fixed and fixed!
Thank you!
Sorry, should’ve explained.
On the dashboard (web), if I click on the “Ghosts: 200” gray progress block, it gives a modal with a long list of ghosts. These are 2 screenshots from 2 different locations in the list, showing that the same 4 sentences appear in the list twice, first around 1/4 down the list (left), and then again around 3/4 down the list (right).
But even without a ss, surely it’s possible to check in the database if a user has more than 1 ghost for the same sentence.
today, i was basically unable to do my bunpro reviews on the website, app worked fine, though.
what happens:
i go on reviews, get my sentence (reading mode), click on show answer and then it goes just to the next sentence. I don’t get the answer, i can’t grade my answer, and the review has not been reviewed and will come back again, later. this does not happen with every review but seems to always has a chance of happening. Sometimes two or three reviews are fine, and the next ones won’t work.
This has been happening to me for a few weeks/months, usually it just happens for an hour or something, but today it was everytime I tried
i’m on ipad safari, all updated.
Hi there!
I tried to replicate the bug on Safari with your account, but couldn’t get it working.
Does it still happen if you disable Auto-expand Info?
Thanks, I will try this setting next time it happens, to see if it fixes it.
The same thing happens to me with chrome on Mac and was definitely happening with auto-expand info turned off, because I eventually turned it on as a workaround for not being able to see the answers.
It was also much worse for me yesterday than it had been previously - see my comments in the feedback thread, which I made before I knew it was a bug.
I’m unsure if a wrong English translation counts as a bug, but here’s one:

I have submitted a report through the button in the bottom right corner by the way.
I got it again, turned off auto expand and then it worked. I like the auto expand function quite a bit though, so hopefully it can be fixed in some other way in the long run
Also not sure yet, if it will work everytime or if it was just a coincidence. I’ll update if I get further info
Interesting that it was yesterday for both of us. I was thinking, that it’s probably a me problem and not really a bunpro issues. But if others notice an increase in this issue around the same time, it might be an important clue.
New user, on the iOS app I keep seeing wrong translations for the sentence 本だ。 in both the examples section of the だ lesson and reviews.
The translation changes each time I’ve seen it - it looks like they’re the translations for other examples that are not from the same grammar point. So far, I haven’t seen this happen for other example sentences.
Hey!
Fixed it!
Cheers!
Regarding the repeated vocab, I’ve just had this show up twice in reviews (both Ghost 4):
Unfortunately, I slayed the ghost, as I wasn’t expecting it to appear again, so it might be difficult to look into that one now.
However, I’ve also managed to get a screen record of another “repeat offender” example sentence which always shows up twice in reviews. Let me know if it’s useful and I can send it to you (I don’t believe it’s possible to post it here in a forum thread).
Thanks! And yes, plz send vid!! 🙇♂️
Looks like that repeat offender in your screenshot was a Ghost Vocab.
Do you happen to use the Offline Review feature on the app ever/often?
Thought that system might’ve been a suspect for the offender, but could just be a red herring
