Just following up on the auto-item-skip bug – I think I’m getting closer to finding it.
I think this is something related to Ghost Reviews and the state of the corresponding regular Review for that Grammar/Vocab.
To replicate it, the environment required seems to be:
I don’t think the Review-type has anything to do with it.
If any of you can let me know what the Vocab/Grammar was that got skipped, I’ll check your account to try find how to replicate the bug. 🙇♂️

As @Chimmsen helpfully said, turning it off stops it from occurring

Actually, I should probably also mention that when I had the bug, if I very quickly tapped enter, it wouldn’t skip. I might be remembering wrong though. But I wonder if BP registers the enter key without delay for some reason.
It says I have -4 reviews in the top there, when I clearly still have 7 vocab reviews(according to a new tab, and at the time of this message) not including the words I got wrong.
Currently set to lightening mode and auto skip when correct.
Any feedback from console would be very useful!!
I have come across with a bug regarding themes. Just today I changed my preferred theme from “Dusk” to “Seafoam”, however the Dashboard, Learn and Review pages still show the old “Dusk” theme. Reloading the page doesn’t load the proper theme. The “Seafoam” theme seems to be working on the rest of pages, i.e. Decks, Content, Practice and settings pages.
I have only encountered this bug on the browser site, the app shows the proper theme.
Some additional info that might be useful: I’m using Vivaldi. I do have the Dark Reader extension installed, but it is turned off for Bunpro.
EDIT: the profile page also shows the former theme instead of the newest. Also thought it’d be nice to illustrate the bug.

I tried debugging but stepping over every instruction was tedious and the code was minified (also looked like some framework code) and it seemed to not skip the times I did go through.

That Review looks pretty normal. I dont think it’s anything to do with Ghosts anymore.
It looks like you’ve only ever had two answers for 紫, and they were both right.
Can you try some Reviews on another browser plz?
Preferably Chrome if you have it installed, otherwise Edge.
Yeah this one is pretty frustrating…
Reviews are getting skipped again. I was able to do around 80 reviews, now all the residual items get skipped.
it’s not about some special items that get skipped, it’s that all the items get skipped.
I think it could be related with long review sessions, new items get dropped into my queue (either by myself or cause a new hour starts and more reviews are available)
all review items are getting skipped again. 11 reviews, no ghosts in there. all beginner vocab items. i started the review session and even the first item got skipped this time. so maybe it’s not when something drops in during the session.

I just logged in through your account, and of the 15 items you had due, none of them seemed to trigger a skip.
If you would like to help, could you please keep the developer console open during Reviews and screenshot the contents when it happens?
Option + ⌘ + J (on macOS), or Shift + CTRL + J (on Windows/Linux) to open up the console.

I’m on IPad, safari, no plug-ins and no idea what a developer console is I just did a quick google search and it seems to open the developers console on ipad you have to connect it to a mac? That would sadly not an option for me.
The skips are random, but when it starts, all left over items get skipped. Sometimes it gets fixed when I end the reviews, and start a new review session. I have not found a way to reproduce the issue.

If anyone can give me additional info/screenshots that leads to me finding the source of this bug, I’d be more than happy to give these gifts to that user.
I don’t know if it’s the same issue but sometimes I lose internet connection during my reviews because some rooms in my home don’t have good Wi-Fi coverage. I noticed that if this happens in-between two hours (say I start the review at 09:50 and end at 10:10), when new items are added at 10:00 and I happen to have no internet connection at that time, some review items disappear when it reloads the queue.
I didn’t file it as a bug because it’s my Wi-Fi being garbage in that specific room. Just throwing it in in case it’s related. My fix so far has been to wait for the next full hour to do my reviews in case I’m too close to the end of the hour
They get skipped again. no ghosts in this queue. I can do one or two reviews, after that they skip all the following items. Ending the review session and starting a new one and the same thing happens. Tried for three times, but all items get skipped.
I’ll probably stop reporting those now, unless you think it’s actually helping you find something.
