Apologies, I hadn’t realized there’s a button on the page for that, will do!
Ah, is the bug report feature the preferred method for little corrections like typos and other small mistakes? Sorry, I didn’t know. I’ve been kinda flooding this thread with small stuff.
Definitely no need to apologize! You can report it either place, but I take some time every day to go through the user feedback and specifically look for any suggestions/corrections when it comes to typos or other errors, so there is a much lower chance it will get overlooked if you post it there!
Not sure if this is a bug necessarily but this doesn’t feel like it should be the correct translation, it just feels a little off. It’s not helping learn the translation of the word:
Reset is buggy:
after you select section to reset it(from https://bunpro.jp/settings/reset
), it redirects to https://bunpro.jp/user/reviews/reset
which displays
however reset itself seems to wipe something
It doesn’t happen always. N2 was reset “fine”. There was no error. Except it and N4 was not reset in grammar deck:
. Though opening the decks and leaving them seems have fixed it.That error page is a sign that the Reset operation potentially timed out.
I just checked your account and it seems like the Reset worked though.
How many Reviews did you roughly have before the Reset, out of curiosity?
Several hundreds, (which is why I decided to reset them all.)
Well, anyway, new strangeness found: audio refuses to play the second time sometimes. First time(when you do review) it works fine. It plays fine(and no errors in browser console), but if you didn’t answer correctly, during error correction it may not work: if you press a play button, audio doesn’t play(rolling wheel keeps rolling and the new instance of error appear in the console),
It doesn’t always happen.
Thanks!
If it happens again can you please let me know the Grammar/Vocab and also the sentence?
I can try and replicate 🙇♂️
Another two were" 病気 → 病気で," and “「誰かにそのことを言いましたか。」
「いいえ、誰にも言っていません。」”
for comparison " 寝なさすぎだから、疲れた" and “この池で泳いではいけません” have worked fine
@Dhanesh
Just for anybody still having this problem, the update fixing it has been pushed to the stores already, you just have to update the app.
Please link me the Vocab/Grammar if you can!
The Android app just started exhibiting bad behavior that it did not have before. See the image below. Note that the “next” button is (mostly) underneath the system navigation buttons (the phone is Pixel 8 FWIW). It’s (barely) possible to interact with that button, but it’s difficult and frustrating.
Yep, I just saw the same thing today on android.
This is completely minor, but I noticed Bunpro is skipping the んじゃない grammar point when I use the normal “learn” button.
In the Grammar List and on the page for the grammar point itself, んじゃない is listed as Lesson 5 item 6, but in the Bunpro N3 Grammar Deck it seems to be the final item in Lesson 5. Maybe that has something to do with it.
@The111 @Dettorer
Hey!
It is because of the updated android SDK level, I am fixing it right now.
The update fixing it should come out with bigger update, soon!
Sorry for the inconvenience,
Dominik from Bunpro
Not sure if already mentioned … I use Bunpro on iPad. As the new IpadOs26 uses separate windows, using it with keyboard and external mouse is great, however scrolling with external mouse will on up direction zoom in on the content rather than scroll up. Scrolling down zooms back out before assuming correct scroll down behaviour…
Very well caught!
I’ve fixed this. 🙇♂️
Hey!
I have fixed this bug some time ago, but it is waiting for the big release later this week!
Sorry for the inconvenience,
Dominik from Bunpro
Hi,
I’m using the website via PC.
Whenever I do reviews (I’m only doing grammar reviews) and decide to stop halfway (haven’t tried not stopping halfway), I’m directed to a pg that says I got 100% correct even though I actually got some wrong.
I’m not sure if this error applies to vocab too or when one completes all his/her grammar reviews as I typically don’t do vocab and don’t complete all my grammar reviews at once. Might want to check on that to play safe too.
Thanks!
