Thanks for looking into this. Should the web version work normally and could I continue there? Currently stopped learning as that doesn’t make much sense if the SRS isn’t working correctly
Yes, the question always is: " XXX(み)の危険を感じたので避難しました。"
SRS is working fine! It’s just the Summary that isn’t displaying correctly.
Study to your hearts content!
Thanks. Unfortunately, now I have another problem. After going out of vacation mode, I suddenly have 8 vocab reviews?! I could manage to find one in the vocab decks and remove it but I do not find the others. Is there a way to find and remove them?
I don’t have proof, but I swear that some of my ghosts aren’t being slayed. I’m sure the same ghost came up during a session again and it was still at the same level the second time around. I might just be going crazy…will pay more attention next time.
If you’re not expecting Vocabs, its probs because you have Wanikani Daily Sync turned On!
Yes, that’s it, thanks. Thought that would sync only Furigana.
Despite the new grammar points being released, some of the relevant decks still show 100% completion (before studying the new grammar points within those decks):
Compare this with the dashboard:
Hi! I wasn’t sure if it would be better to post here or to contact support since this may be an issue just with my account, but since a few years ago I’ve been having a problem with my reviews.
Every time I finish a session, it is marked with a 100% review accuracy, both in the summary and in the stats screen, even when there may be several items that I failed. The “Last Session” accuracy in my dashboard is actually correct, but that is not reflecting in my stats.
I had a similar issue just now. The details I remember are:
I just did a session of only 4 review items. The session ID is 15681528. I got one question wrong. The one I got wrong is from the のは~の方だ grammar point, and the specific sentence was the 10th (the one with the two gangsters). However, on the review summary page for that session, that sentence doesn’t show up. Instead, a different sentence from the same grammar point shows up, namely the 9th (“Even though I did so much for you…”), and it is displayed in green as if I got it correct. The summary also tells me my score was 100%. If I visit the page for this specific grammar point right now, the side panel tells me I have a review of this grammar point pending right now, even though I had a review for it just ten minutes ago.
Thanks for the report!
We’re aware of this Summary issue, and currently in the process of fixing it 🙇♂️
Okay, I wasn’t going crazy. Some ghosts are coming up more than once and are staying the same level even after a correct answer. They should go up a level right?
I answered this word correctly and then less than a minute later it popped up again, still at level 1.
Hi, I am having an issue where things that I am getting wrong in reviews are being marked as correct. I am using Chrome and this issue has been occurring for the past few weeks.
Oh great, glad that it’s not an isolated problem (and sorry for the others affected ). Thanks for the confirmation and good luck!
If it is the same problem that we were just discussing, I think this is only affecting the summary and stats. The SRS level update of each item should still be reflecting your answers correctly, which is the most important thing. So at least we can keep going on with the reviews.
When I click on my vocab ghosts, underneath each one it shows ‘level | title | meaning’ instead of displaying the actual information. This only happens for vocab ghosts, everything else is fine.
I’m using the app on an iPad, on the website it displays the information differently, but I think it’s all correct.
Yesterday, I suddenly started getting dozens of ghosts for vocabulary that I had never gotten wrong. Even “hai”, for example. I had reset my progress about a month ago. Could these be ghosts from back then reviving? In any case, its making it hard to learn new words when reviews are dominated by random words. Thank you!
This is after clicking the review button and doesn’t involve wrap-up mode. I can’t remember whether any of the affected points were ghosts.
It’s via the Android app.
