Feedback - Bug Reports

If you open the website, do you have the same ghosts?
You can try:

  • open settings
  • search for reset data
  • tap on the ‘ghost data’
(or reset all data at top right corner, might take a bit)

Sorry for the inconvenience,

I was just quizzed over 塗れ twice in the same review session, probably 2 minutes apart. I believe it was two different example sentences, but I’m not positive. I don’t have ghosts enabled, and don’t have any active ghosts.

Web — Firefox 141.0 (aarch64), macOS 15.6 (24G84).

Vocab gets marked as wrong when it ends in “ん” and you only type “n” instead of “nn”.
For example, for ずいぶん I would type “zuibun” and submit it. It used to mark it as correct but since this morning it gets marked as wrong unless I type “zuibunn”.
I was wondering why I got stuck in a loop of typing the correct answer earlier and then noticed that pattern. Somehow lost some review progress to it after restarting bunpro to get out of the loop lol

Tested on Android Firefox:
141.0.1 (Build #2016105287), null
GV: 141.0.1-20250728130431
AS: 141.0
OS: Android 12

Just pushed a fix! Thanks so much for the report 🙇‍♂️

We pushed a lot of BTS changes this morning, in preparation for some more big updates.

Deck values and JLPT values on Dash should have updated themselves by now?

Also the Cram -1 during Wrap Up issue should be gone by now!

Great! I’ll keep an eye out and let you know if there’s anything I come across

Sorry for the super late reply! I somehow missed this, even though liking it

Looks like Safari had a different way of handling Japanese inputs.
I’m gonna push an update to it very soon (within the next few days).

Thanks for your patience!

It seems that ghost reviews currently aren’t appearing in the summary at the end of review sessions.
So if you do a review session of entirely ghosts, for example, the summary says you did no reviews

Jokes… It was just a bug

It seems that whenever I select “know all” for a section of a deck most of the vocabs under the section are not displayed as mastered correctly

some vocabs are correctly implemented as mastered, but some of them are still in the beginner phase.

some vocabulary from this custom deck is also added to my reviews without me adding them. these vocabs are already mastered

fyi no matter how many words I review the review queue is never ending even though the review queue is a fixed number on my dashboard I got a neverending review session whenever I clic on “review vocab” whenever I try to exit the review session I got an endless loading screen:

and eventually after 5mn I got this:

I think I broke my account I’m sad :(((

if you want to create a similar situation here is what I did : import 6k words in a custom deck, put it in my review queue as a mistake, setting one section as mastered, remove the deck from review queue, set all the other sections as mastered, and KABOUM

final edit : the words are set as mastered after a few dozens of minutes, as for the reviews : it’s still broken

Out of interest, where have you seen 友人 being read at ともだち?

My bad! I was copy and pasting up a storm making a deck and I think I accidentally deep fried my brain. All is good.

I finished the N5 grammar about 2 years ago and N4 about a half to a whole year ago, but recently I got a missing grammar point for each.

First, I figured the BunPro team had just rearranged the grammar points a bit or maybe added some that were missing, but when I got to the deck and filter by Not Learned, then I get nothing.

I figure that the bug is either

  1. the count is off
  2. the listings of grammar points in the decks are off.

I hope you can help.

We recently added some new grammar points (and will be adding more periodically from now on). You can read about it here. As for the items not displaying properly in the decks, I will let one of the computer wizards handle that!
