I’ve been trying to change my vocab decks from manual answer to reveal and grade, but some reviews don’t seem to be changing.

Here’s an N5 example:

Looking at the settings for that particular example, I can see that it’s still set to manual input for some reason :face_with_monocle:

I can see it Mastered on your account?

This is on Reviews on web yeah? Are you doing Grammar-Only Reviews?
Or just the general /reviews page?

Whoa, that’s even stranger then!? It’s seasoned 1 for me and definitely shouldn’t be anywhere near mastered.

I’m trying it on iOS at the moment, on vocab only.

I’m getting a “Something went wrong” message that ends my vocab review session prematurely. It’s happening repeatedly at the moment, after about 10-15 vocab reviews.

Are both of these bugs on the app?

The “N5 example:” you gave above is maybe a Grammar Point?
If it is Grammar, then Reveal and Grade isn’t available for Grammar yet.

Hahah yeah you were too quick for me! I noticed but it was too late.

So, it’s actually a vocab review. It says it’s an N5 Interjection ? Should that not be coming up on my vocab only reviews?

This is on the iOS app (checking on my computer later).

Looking at your account on Web, it looks like it’s set correctly!

Is it working on the website?
E.g. on this page (when logged in) for any of the kanji:

So strange…maybe it just takes a bit for some of the changes to go through? I’ll see if it happens again on my next session.

Edit: something is still a bit off. Just had another, this time an N5 Expression. In the info page on iOS it’s showing it’s still manual input.

Yep, really weird!

These are the only 2 grammar reviews I have at the moment:

I pretty much always review grammar and vocab separately, but those 2 seem to factor into the total review count too, so I guess they would appear if reviewing vocab and grammar together anyway.

Btw, in case it’s relevant, 1 of the 2 reviews is for a self-study sentence, but the other isn’t - and they both seem to have bugged out at the same time as each other :thinking:

They are all displayed just as in the reviews

hi, I realised it is working correctly if I set the first furigana option to off, then furigana hover to on. So maybe it was me doing things wrong here. If the first furigana is on it won’t work.

Still I think it is not very clear, maybe the hover option should take over any choice made on the general furigana option ?

Unfortunately, I can now add another 2 to the list of unsubmittable reviews with no SRS stage indicated in the top-right:

In case it helps, the other new one is for なかなか (which shows up as already mastered!)

I just got logged out in the middle of doing reviews, which is unfortunate. I got an auth error, had to log back in and then restart the reviews. In general I noticed that I sometimes get logged out, just usually outside of reviews. Is that on purpose?
I’d love if I just stayed logged in similar to other apps/websites. I also hate how a certain other learning platform only lets you log in for 2 weeks at a time. It’s annoying and places another barrier towards learning.

So I updated the app this morning and all of my reviews disappeared. Web version still shows them though. Any ideas what’s going on?

Edit: fixed it by resetting data. All good now I think!

These screenshots were taken within the same minute. As you can see, the number of reviews is very different.
The number of reviews on the desktop is the same in two different computers, and I restarted and forced closed the app (android) several times to force download from the internet.

@Sloppydee1 Thank you for sharing the fix! I had the same issue, and it showed i hadn’t completed any decks/content at all after I updated the app

Could you try opening reset data screen and tapping reset all data at the top right corner?
