Thanks, it’s almost perfect now. But in the “examples” section now the page scrolls up every time sentence furigana are toggled.
@Pushindawood I have the grammar search page bookmarked, so that is always the page that loads first. When I load the page, it auto-focuses the input, but the font is messed up for a couple seconds. Then when the font finally gets fixed, it unfocuses the input so I have to click into it again before I can type. Can you do something about that?
@Pushindawood Any update on this at all? It’s quite frustrating that this doesn’t work on the Paths page.
Also, for some reason these two kanji are tied together. Clicking one shows the furigana for both.
Hey! It looks like there was a bug with the way notes were displayed in Paths. They were all saved just they didn’t show up. That should be fixed now, so all of your notes should be visible. Sorry about that!
@Pep95 The issues with the check boxes should be resolved!
@chanzilla All fixed!
@Anthropos888 I am unable to reproduce the scrolling. Could you please give me a little more info about it?
@seanblue The issue in Paths is fixed. Hovering will now show the English. The issue with the focus on the input seems to happen sometimes, but works other times. I will look more into it and get it fixed.
All kanji that share the same reading are tied together. If you turn on the furigana for a kanji, every instance of that kanji will have its furigana turned on sitewide. Likewise, if you turn off furigana for a kanji, Bunpro remembers what kanji you have clicked/tapped to turn off furigana and turns furigana off everywhere. Cheers.
Makes sense. Is it intentional that one of the sentences uses 形 instead of 型?
Thanks, but if it wasn’t clear the slow load time and jumpiness of the page when all the styles finally load is a much bigger deal than the focus issue.
Yes, on my phone the grammar page still needs 20 seconds and more to load. And it jumps and focuses two times during that.
Thank you!
Heya,
Thanks for the changes!
Also I was wondering; if I watch a video for the grammar point これ, and the video is about これ、それ、あれ、どれ, it would be nice if that video will be checked in the reading section of the grammar items forそれ、あれ and どれ . For written parts I usually just focus on the paragraphs about the grammar I am learning at that moment, but for videos I mostly watch them completely to also get the context of the other parts. I’m not sure how alone I am in doing this. But if this is a common practice, it would be nice to have the sources checked off already for me or at least given an indication of already having been opened.
A bit like this maybe? So the top check I just read, the middle check I read a while back, and the bottom check hasn’t been read yet. By clicking the transparent check, it changes into an opaque check.
It happens only in “study” mode. Go to the examples sections, scroll down (on mobile) and toggle some furigana. The focus will jump to the top of the page.
Clicking a kanji to show the furigana no longer auto-focuses the input.
Help x’D
I clicked “add to reviews” on a new grammar point, and it didn’t seem to work, so I clicked again, and I think that’s what caused this. (This was after I did the review. No amount of refreshing does anything x’D)
Edit: Okay, new reviews showing up seemed to have fixed it.
Your subscription page is really buggy. Inline scripts are really not a good idea, especially when they rely on external JS loaded asynchronously!
Please make it so that I can pay you.
I can’t highlight the English text during reviews. Being able to copy and paste would be nice.
Not sure if especially a bug but anyway.
I just noticed that the app and the webpage are different for me in regard to the available lessons … the webpage says i have done all of n4 160 of 160 and the app says i have done 160 of 169 items ( which i can also learn there, but not at the webpage )
And yes i cleraed the cache / refreshed the page and so on
I’ve run into an issue where I can’t enter response to a review. I got the notification that I have a new review, I started the review and my key presses aren’t registering. (I’m using Firefox 68)
Perhaps it’s because the input field doesn’t automatically get focus?
When revealing furigana on an example in the study section, it takes you back to the top of the page.
(Firefox & chrome mobile)
I got this つもり review today, and it’s quite hard to see that it is actually a つもり review.
Not sure what has gone wrong here
There are several sentences where Bunpro gives you two verbs to combine. I actually prefer that, since it makes you have to figure out how to, not only form the desired grammar point for the answer, but also how to combine the verbs to make it. I’m pretty sure it’s done on purpose, and isn’t a bug.
