I dont know if this is supposed to happen, but often the website is freezing, during SRS or exercices. It can freeze to the point that chrome come to say it to me. After like 1-2min everything’s fine but lol i dont think that’s normal
If you experience it again, could you send me a screen shot of the console please? That will hopefully let me pinpoint the issue.
As a native speaker I am very embarrassed that I can’t see any issue with that >_<
I was trying to learn a new set of grammar from the Tea Kim Path and this happened. At first the page would just load very slow and was unresponsive. It then force reloaded, and finally I received this screen.
I just added 4 new grammar points, and my homepage showed I had 4 reviews due.
I went to do the reviews, and suddenly I had 8 to do! They were just some leftover reviews I didn’t finish from a previous session an hour ago, though (I’d missed them, but didn’t “complete” them with a correct answer at the end of the session). For some reason, these “missed-but-not-completed” reviews seemingly aren’t counted in the # of reviews on the homepage; I think that should be fixed
The second reading link in the grammar point 前に from JLPT5 that should direct to a JGram site seems to be broken.
Welcome Acardo.
You can report this kind of grammar-point-related bugs directly in the relevant grammar point or the review, by clicking on the ‘report’ button.
Have a nice study time here!
I still have the issue with the website freezing for 2min between each questions…
Hi guys,
When I open a grammar point discussion from the dashboard, it opens a completely different grammar point topic:
The other links are working fine, but every grammar point that I open is going somewhere unrelated. It might be only my computer though, I haven’t look thoroughly into it.
Thanks!
I’ve been having this problem for a while. When I first enter a review session, the very first question I answer doesn’t register. Whether I’m right or wrong, all that happens when I hit enter is that it’ll act like I’ve submitted the answer but the answer bar stays white and the question will appear again later in the review session. I’m not sure whether it is marking it as incorrect or not but it always comes back.
I’ve seen this behavior on both my laptop and my PC, both with no scripts running. It doesn’t happen every time, it seems to come in waves of a few sessions doing it and then a few not.
EDIT (to add a screenshot):
I’ve answered the question there and hit enter. As you can see from the top right, it has registered me as answered and even has it as right (I hope, I’m terrible with that grammar). Despite this I’ve got no feedback that I got the question right or wrong and I will be asked it again later in the review session.
I’m having pretty bad issues with this as well, huge freezes between pages. It used to happen occassionally for around 5 seconds each time, now it happens much more often with around 30s+ of freezes. It’s enough that both Chrome and Edge pop up messages saying the site is not responding.
Have no scripts.
Hi!
I reported the same problem. It happens on several devices for me, and is a bit random (sometimes, rarely, the link leads to the right grammar point).
I’ve been having this problem for a few days now and have tested it in Brave (w/ adblock disabled, brave shield disabled) and also in Chrome with any blockers disabled there too. When I go to add notes to grammar points sometimes it won’t actually create the note, it just kind of freezes and nothing happens. When I go to the next grammar point in my review and create a note it will have the previous grammar point’s failed attempt note in its note box.
Has anyone stumbled across this? I’ve only been doing notes for points recently so I can’t tell if this has been a common occurrence or something on my end is interfering with the system.
edit: adding in a screenshot of another error I’m now seeing
reading tab is completely blank, no audio for the practice sentences in previous tab, practice sentence tab looks like a nuke hit it, hitting the Note function in a grammar point doesn’t work at all now. I’ve disabled any scripts I had running and the problem still persists.
is there any potential update to this? it’s to the point now where i can’t do the readings or add notes majority of the time i do reviews
20 days later and the problem is still just as annoying as the first day. I’m not sure what’s changed recently but this new bug makes doing reviews more tedious and is extremely annoying. Others have commented having the same issue so at least I know I’m not alone here.
