It’s not done in the example sentences, but if you do something like ”私からすれば”, does it mean “judging from me” or does it take on a nuance of “from my point of view?”
I have been doing a lot of JLPT prep and ran into this question.
しかし親 ＿＿＿＿ 「若いうちはいいけれど、年を取ってから一人では寂しい」と心配でたまらず、。。。

The correct answer according to the answer sheet was からすると, after confirming with my Japanese teacher, it appears that からすると when directly following a proper noun describing a position like 親, 先生、社長、etc… has the meaning of “From the point of view of” somewhat similar to something like 親上では、親から見ると、or 親にしたら/にすれば.
