Think I’ve answered my own question, but maybe someone can confirm? I was interpreting the middle line of this as “(A) is being done by the interval between people sharing the same role”. I assumed I’d misunderstood how 間 was being used because I was taking で to indicate agency.

Now thinking it’s indicating a location of an event, as in something like “よく図書館で読みます”, which would put it along the lines of “(A) is being done between people sharing a role”. Is that right?

Hey @CrisH !

“(A) is being done between people sharing a role” is correct!
