can see/can be seen, can observe/can be observed, be evident, chance to see something

Structure

  • Noun + が + 見られる
  • Noun + も + 見られる

[Expresses that something can be seen under some condition, situation, due to conscious effort (will/desire of the speaker), etc. or that something is observed/noticed (often a change, trend)]

[見られる can be interpreted as both a passive and potential form of the verb 見る]

[Can also express that something is worth viewing/watching (e.g. 最近みられるアニメはない)]
