といいです Grammar Point problem with one of the example sentences

One of the example sentences for the grammar point といいです is incorrectly translated I think.

日本に来て彼女と一緒に住むといいね。

The English provided on Bunpro is:

My wish is for my girlfriend to come to Japan and live with me.

The 話題 in this sentence is implied to be 私は, right? I think this should translate to:

My wish is to come to Japan and live with my girlfriend.

I asked my Japanese coworker and he agreed with me.
