@matt_in_mito Chii is the white dressed one. Although you could make an argument that the black one is also Chii (Therefore today’s GitW phrase).
ちい is a person??? I see… so unless you know this manga you’re probably gonna be just as perplexed as I was.
Then I would like to argue in the strongest possible terms that the lady dressed in black should be allowed to be Chii. Or at least identify as her.

I didn’t know either about Chii. I did a bit of research about her but not too much in order to avoid spoilers. So i am not sure at all of my translation. Maybe i should read mangas from Clamp,i’ve heard they are pretty good.

It is interesting that they didn’t make her name katakana. I can see how it’d be confusing for people not familiar with Chobits.
I’m joining @Megumin in the “Old enough to know Chobits” club. It was a favourite manga of mine in my teenage years and is on my list of things to reread in Japanese once I’m better at reading.
So I was really excited to see it here in GitW!
