I synced with my wanikani and woke up to 600 reviews after sync was done.
This overwhelms me and puts me off learning.
Is there no way to do some kind of hard limit that just gives you preset amount of reviews per day and that’s it? Let’s say I set it to give me no more than 20 or 30.
What options are there? I don’t want to go through 600.
ANKI has limits for example that you can set.
My friend also was asking for that kind of limiting, but for grammar

I lowkey regret syncing with wanikani now, because it overwhelmed me to no end hah
I restarted wanikani for that reason and now I’m not overwhelmed anymore and get a lot more reading practice in.
Hard limit yourself? If youre synced with Wani set the vocab to reading sentences and just do 20 or thirty at any given time and get reading practice in too. Use the app and do it on busses or trains or whenever.
I found myself in a similar position when I synced WaniKani. Something you can do that I find helps is set a Session Limit for reviews. Start a review session, Settings > Queue > Session Limit. Then you can set a reasonable amount to do in a single session.
You can also break up your grammar and vocab sessions so the session limit applies to both.
