I LOVE These types of Grammar Sentences!

Every now and then I encounter really cool grammar sentences in BunPro.

Today it was one regarding the popular Japanese novel 「スプートニクの恋人」. I read this about 1 1/2 years ago, with one of my Japanese friends. She was learning Spanish, so we read it in Spanish, but it was a very interesting novel. I didn’t like the ending though, lol. Still, it was nice to see it being referenced here in BunPro. Here’s the sentence:

I also recently encountered this one about a very popular anime:

Love it!!

Have you encountered any sentences that you like? Please feel free to share them here.

I don’t have any in particular to add, but wanted to say that I agree! I love the mix of “real life” examples mixed with pop culture references to keep things interesting.

I use WaniKani, and way too many of their example sentences are completely nonsensical to the point of being unnatural in an attempt to make it memorable. I find Bunpro has a good mix of both, which I appreciate.

What would you do if you got home and suddenly, E.T. is sitting on your couch?

I didn’t realise that this was an anime reference because I haven’t watched too many anime yet, so this sentence seemed kinda out of context to me at first lmao
