I love Physics, Cosmology, etc, so these types of sentences make me happy!
Ok Bunpro, my hair starts to fall out and I’m a bit insecure about it, won’t you stop remind me that TWICE A WEEK ?
“The bridge is out!”
橋は壊れている!(Maybe?)
EDIT: I found a clip of the movie this line is from (True Lies) in Japanese on YouTube. Unfortunately it wasn’t from the specific scene this line comes from, but one before it where Arnold uses a similar term “take out the bridge”. He uses the する verb 爆破 (ばくは) = Blow up.
With that, I’m assuming the translators used this for the phrase:
橋は爆破された!”The bridge is out” (lit. The bridge has been blown up).
beautiful lmfao
I love this thread
Another DBZ reference:
Funnily enough, that grammar point sounds kinda similar to Goku’s Saiyan Name (カカロット).
“Even though we were busy talking, my (younger) sister interrupted us, and took my friend who knows where.”
Uhmmm…don’t ask .
This one showed up today (on Valentine’s Day). Is BunPro now advising not to get married? Decisions, decisions
You are correct, but despite having watched it as a child, I can’t help but wonder why the moon would be inclined to punish someone.
I guess it’s because the moon plays such an important role in the anime? But yeah, it’s kinda strage lol
This hit me really hard because it reminded me of my great grandmother, who died to cancer almost a decade ago…
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to do that . Mine died many years ago now.
