I watched the equivalent of PBS kids for about 3 hours.
I watched on TV broadcast, but they have a website too.
And two episodes of dungeon meishi on Netflix. This one I watched with Japanese subs, and my boyfriend watched with English. I translate in real time, and he’d correct me if I missed something.
If you download on onto your device and watch in airplane mode you can get around ‘one device at a time’

Yesterday I saw Maboroshi ( アリスとテレスのまぼろし工場) in Japanese with Japanese subtitles.
I’ve now printed the related Japanese Wikipedia article (the one linked above) to see what I did understand and what I thought I did understand. 
I will then see the film with subtitles in either English or Spanish to see what it was really all about. 
I watched 2.5 episodes of “わたしの幸せ結婚”.
Girl is like “I wanna wait on you hand and foot and apologize for every breath I take” and the Guy “It must be a trap, If I thank you, you’re gonna stab me in the back” and they are both super scared all the time.
I watched new episode of Dungeon Meishi
Read chapter 2 in Hayate. Combat felt like watching munin rider in one punch. He didn’t punch anyone, just blead allot, and said “could you please give her back?” and it worked 
I haven’t been doing much immersion lately: haven’t felt like it. I have kept up with studying though, somehow. I did just finish up a couple of easy graded reader stories, so that’s a start.
Watched an episode of hajimete no otsukai, and half an episode of わたしの幸せ結婚 .
So in the past two weeks I
read another chapter of Hayate,
watched an episode of blue exorcist,
watched two episodes of dungeon meishi
two episodes of hajimete otsukai,
watched a fantsay movie a Japanese friend picked out.

Today I tried a new method for reading the NHK NEWS WEB EASY news:
- It would be preferable to use a Japanese dictionary similar to the one they use within the articles to round up the method, any suggestion!?
Thus, you can carry out the whole reading process (reading, looking up words, taking notes…) in Japanese. You also practice writing hiragana (and kanji) at normal speed and testing your knowledge of kanji readings, both on and kun.
It is possible to set up yomichan so it gives you a Japanese definition. I was able to set it up using this guide, but it’s not easy: [#]Setting up Rikaitan (tatsumoto-ren.github.io)

Surfing through the links really enhances both reading ability, inner language understanding and vocabulary.
Today I read this, amongst other news, learned a lot about 絹 and 蚕 and 繭… Such a nice kanji in itself, 繭. It’s like a little story in a single image. Even learned the word ガ, its kanji being of course 蛾. 
Watched another episode of blue Exorcist.
Also, I understood 80% of the words in Graduation speach.
There was lyric video. First time two teachers sang along. Then asked everyone else to sing along too. The only kanji that I didn’t know was 翼. つば
I was reading some manga, and there was an ad for VOMIC in it. The QR code doesn’t work any more, but I quickly found this video VOMIC ハイキュー!! (1) - ニコニコ動画
Which was fun. Looks like it was a trend 10 years ago, so Probably harder to find now a days.
The ad said Toriko, Owari no serif, HAYAKU! and assassination classroom 暗殺教室 were on this website.

Last week someone told me that an american hoodie is a パーカー, and a American Parka is a Japanese Down Coat. Fun to see it in action.
Also learned that 団子 means hair bun. I’ve seen several women with number 7, and one woman with number 10. I’ll try number 6 tomorrow.

Read 1 chapter of D Gray Man yesterday.
My local library has Yotsuba, but not super car so I might join the Yotsuba book club.
I already did Jalup’s stage 1 Immersion [Volume 1 of Yotsuba, 日常, dragon ball, シロクマカフェ, うさぎdrop
Next is 坂本ですが in stage 2. Jalup Master - Japanese Level Up
For ＄100 you get the vocab for 14 manga series.
I think it’s a better deal if you get the bundle - 7,000 i+1 sentences 6,000 have audio read by a native speaker and definitions in Japanese lifetime For 250.
i+1 means each sentence has only 1 word you haven’t learned yet.
The full bundle contains vocab from 22 manga series.
However, given that bunpro is still growing- and Jalup isn’t. Bunpro is probably a better deal.

As for me, I’m kinda following the Beginner Book Club. I’ve just finished chapter 2 of Yotsuba today while everyone else is… much further along. I just need to be more consistent with my reading.
Tonight I’m hosting passover 過越祭り. While my Japanese friends are also studying English, I’m pre-emptivly saying I’ll get plenty of speaking practice explaining everything.
I also had some speaking practice talking to the town librarian and finding out that the university has a tri lingual copy explaining 過越祭り in Hebrew, English and Japanese and I could go to their library and read it there, but can’t check it out. I also got an email from the publisher that this book from 2010 is already out of print.
Fortunately my kanji deck includes 奴隷 cause I’ll need that word a lot… (And I don’t /want/ to teach them that English word)
