Jesus, I’m flying up to Sydney in a few hours to take the test tomorrow and have just straight up been having a migraine attack for the last day… triptans doing nothing… why now?!
If this is still going on tomorrow I have no idea how I’ll be able to sit, getting on a plane right now is already a big ask.

Say, does Japan send staff overseas to assist with the organisation of the JLPT? At the risk of doxxing myself a little bit: the hotel I’m staying at is one of the most logical choices for this exam site, and it is a rather illogical choice for regular sightseeing/tourism in this city, and there are Japanese-speaking guests in a room near me. Maybe I’m thinking too hard about it though, but it got me wondering.

When you’re reciting B R E A D to yourself repeatedly as you sleepwalk around the hotel, make sure to say the R and E loudly so the staff don’t think you’re reciting the answers to the test

I’ve had a good lunch and it’s getting a bit cold, time to head back to the hotel and study for the night.

Btw: in my country they allow water and basic snacks in the exam room. Is it only me, who gets the munchies in stressful situations?

For real?! Such a kind gesture! I’m not bringing anything with me except my test voucher, ID, pencils and an eraser. Phone’s staying back at the hotel room, so hopefully I don’t get lost…

In our case they allow water, but no snacks unless required for medical reasons.
And mobile phones can be brought to the venue, but then have to be turned off and stay off until all test sections are complete.
Do they provide an envelope to put your phone in?
I asked about the phone storage and who is going to take responsibility to guard the valuables of the people sitting in the exam. In response, they told me that the phone needs to be turned off, put away in your bag and the bags will remain in the classroom. I suppose we will put them to the side or behind the teacher’s desk.
I cannot even leave my phone at home, my public transport ticket is on an app on my phone 
This envelope thing sounds so 1999.
