Just took N1 in Japan. Give impressions rather discussing the contents.
Hard as usual.
It was difficult to find the correct answers in the reading part while having the impression to have grasped the text. But as usual.
Listening was as usual, but damned the short comment (choose appropriate reactions among the 3) was super hard to me.

Just took N1 as well, hard maybe but super long. I have to give up on one of the 長文. Still, I think I have a good chance passing.

Took N2 today! Felt okay about the vocab/reading/kanji, but the listening was a hit to my confidence 
Still, may have managed a pass - just have to wait and see!

Agree.
Here in Europe we are just after a historical heatwave, they will not risk not letting people drink. Coupled with the stress, people would be fainting left and right.
It is so basic, humans need water. You go to Africa and no-one will touch your water, some places they even allow it through the airport security check.

Dang, I did not fall asleep until sometime after 3:30 AM. I don’t feel too bad right now, but I do have a little bit of that burning feeling in my eyes. And the N3 in Berlin is in the afternoon while I have to check out of the hotel at 11 AM so I don’t have a place to nap.

It’s quite irritating that they closed the application period early this year because demand was too high but where I was sitting, for every ten seats at least two seats were empty with no shows. I personally had no one sitting at the desks either side of me. I liked the extra space but the whole test environment and application procedure needs a serious rethink IMO.
Also saw multiple disqualifications because people took their phones out of the sealed envelope. For N1 this is just not acceptable. How are you living in Japan and taking N1 but still unable to follow the most basic clearly stated rule? I’ll never understand some peoples behavior.

In Okinawa. Took N1. Nobody disqualified in my room as far as I know. I was at the front. They gave us an envelope. It had to be kept sealed until after the tests were all collected.

Took the N3 in Japan. Overall, the vocab and reading sections were slightly harder than the Bunpro exams, but I feel good about my performance.
Listening, though, was much harder. Was getting solid 70-80% on the Bunpro mock exams, but genuinely won’t be surprised if I fail to get the minimum required score on the actual exam.

Just sat the N1 today for the first time. I might just be cooked. From doing 4 mock exams, reading has always been my strong suit (80% average). But this time around I couldn’t grasp the logic of the questions in time. The passages were complex and the question choices I felt had two choices that were very plausible. I might get just 40% on this section. It’s not like my listening can carry the score either. I’m only confident in my vocab and grammar sections.
Most likely I’ll be posting on the December thread, hope I don’t see you guys there too 🥲

My thoughts exactly. I think the reading section test makers wanted to troll us so hard with the questions this time around because damn were the questions convoluted 
the spontaneous answer listening section was pretty tough too as you said.

Did the N5 this afternoon in France.
Vocabulary and listening were quite good, but the grammar part was a hard one…

Just finished N4, and feeling pretty alright about it! Getting to the place was a challenge though; my train kept getting delayed 
arrived at the hotel around 10 pm x_x didn’t sleep well at all unfortunately.
The test itself… damn that listening was hard, WAY harder than any mock test I’ve done, including the official one. Vocab/kanji and grammar/reading were fine though; even managed to get in a 30 minute nap after the reading, which I sorely needed. On the vocab they did manage to exactly hit some of the words that just won’t stick for me, but I’m sure I still did fine on them overall. The star questions in the grammar section took me by surprise; first time ever I felt they weren’t too tricky (one I even found easy)!
They did say results would be out some time in October… really hope it’ll be before that, because that just feels ridiculously long.
