数年前 すうねんまえ A few years ago
前後 ー Front and Back, Before and After
後悔 こうかい regret
悔し涙··
涙雨 なみだあめ
Unfortunately this ends the game since it breaks rule No. 4 (Paraphrasing: Words can’t start nor end with kana).
しりとり!
I know. I realised as soon as I posed it and I couldn`t remove it.
冒険 (ぼうけん) adventure
検算 「けんざん」- verification of a calculation
There are literally two words in the dictionary that start with 剣! One of them ends with 者 so I couldn’t even use it
I checked with a few people and no one could think of a continuation (it could be continued using names but that feels like cheesing to me). I found three very obscure words in my kanji dictionary though. I think perhaps we should have a no “no proper nouns・固有名詞” rule as it is pretty easy to end the game using names. Not sure what everyone else thinks.
Is this true?
Regardless, 険、検 and 剣 are all different kanji so it looks like that’s しりとり!
Starting again, as it is the start perhaps you’ll forgive me using an idiom and not a word.
口は禍の元 - the mouth is the origin of disaster (meaning: stop talking so much or you'll put your foot in it)げんき 元期 epoch
期待 (きたい) expectation, anticipation
side comment: ここで[冒険]を使用することを期待していました。But it was the shortest しりとりround. 次の機会を待ちます。
待機 たいき Standby
Hi! I like this rule, we could include it as rule No 7 if agreed.
待機施設 - quarantine facility
設置(せっち)institution
I agree with the no proper nouns rule. Names can have some crazy rare kanji!
Good!
置物
物語 - 「ものがたり」- Story
語学力 「ごがくりょく」 - language learning ability
力不足 ちからくそく inadequacy
足首(あしくび)ankle
