N5 L10 Reading Discussion

Hospital

Since my head hurts, I’m going to head to the hospital. I’ll make it(1) the close-by hospital.
I’ve come to the hospital, but my head has stopped hurting.
I am bad at explaining. I plan to write my explanation on paper.(2)
I received headache medicine, and returned home.

The dialogue started with “future tense”, continued with “perfect tense”, jumped back to “present tense”, and finally ended with “past tense”. I don’t understand what was this?? Was this a dream, told by one friend to another? Even if it were a dream, I could not understand the reason for this grammatical confusion. Each line is consistent within itself, but it’s as if they were cut and pasted from different paragraphs. Does anyone know why?

I think these are three different points in time, with an implicit time skip between some sentences:
1: at home. Not yet at the hospital, but planning to go, so future tense.
2: at the hospital lobby, reflecting on recent changes, so perfect tense.
3: still at the hospital lobby, reflecting on future plans, so future tense.
4: at home again, reflecting on what happened at the hospital, so past tense.

It could for instance be fragments from a notebook/diary, but this is not made explicit.
