Can someone explain 撮ってもらいました?

I know what these words mean in isolation and I was able to guess what was meant but I’m not sure how this grammatically works. Is linking the te-form with もらう sort of its own grammar point?

Yes, it’s てもらう (JLPT N4) | Bunpro.
It is currently in N4 L7, so if you follow Bunpro’s order you might not have seen it yet.

So this means “we had somebody (unnamed) take a picture for us”. It implies that the speaker asked somebody to help take this group photo with himself, grandchildren and giraffe, and got that help.

What is もんな at the end of this sentence?

父親()：「それなら今日()は家()の中()にいよう。お前()が家()の中()にいたがっているのが分()かるから。ん…？変()な臭()いがする…。」

What is the nuance of から in 分()かるから? Is it sort of a follow up to the previous sentence like “In that case, let’s stay inside today. Because I can tell you want to be indoors.”
